About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development of key components of the financial exchange platform.
Contribute with your expertise by sharing ideas on product improvements.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain Java application phases, code, and software.
Ensure the product design is suitable to meet the security, resilience, and confidentiality needs of users.
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
Transform requirements into stipulations and identify production and non-production application issues.
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
Coach and mentor other members of the development team, growing the collective knowledge and expertise of the group.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
8+ years of relevant professional experience
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (databases, concurrency, security, networking)
Proven software engineering experience with Java or other JVM-based languages
Demonstrated contribution to a development team that delivered a successful, large-scale product
Experience with relational database management systems, message queues, and Public Key Infrastructure
Experience working with REST APIs
Experience deploying and operating services in containerized environments, including Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
Nice to have Experience with Canton/Daml or other distributed transaction or ledger technologies.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
