About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and special strategic projects
  • Own Finance integration and disintegration activities, including CAO project management and functional-area deal support
  • Synthesize transaction and strategic-project information to identify accounting opportunities, risks, and issues
  • Develop and drive accounting solutions with stakeholders inside and outside Intel
  • Act as the key accounting point person for internal and external stakeholders
  • Design and implement carve-out financials and TSA services
  • Lead integration and disintegration of key deal areas
  • Manage month-end close processes and acquired or divested legal-entity transition plans
  • Manage cross-functional strategic projects end-to-end and drive delivery against milestones
  • Perform accounting research on complex technical issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • 3+ years of public accounting and/or valuation experience
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting rules
  • Knowledge of US GAAP/SEC reporting and accounting requirements, including ASC 805 and ASC 810
  • Proven problem-solving record in high-pressure environments
  • Strong written and oral communication and influence with senior management
  • Acquisition, integration, restructuring, or divestiture experience is a plus
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of finance information systems, especially SAP and transaction flows, is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in complex, changing environments
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and develop solutions to complex problems
  • Public accounting and/or valuation experience is useful
  • Prior experience with large multinational transactions or strategic projects is beneficial
