About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development and validation of Intel’s next‑generation CPU designs
  • Work with pre‑silicon models, simulation tools, and verification environments
  • Perform functional verification of CPU logic
  • Develop verification plans and test benches
  • Execute verification plans and run system-level simulations
  • Debugging presilicon failures, partnering with design teams
  • Improve verification infrastructure, tools, automation, and methodology
  • Document test plans and results, participating in reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
  • 3+ months of educational or work experience in digital logic design and computer architecture
  • At least one scripting language (Python, Perl, or Tcl)
  • C++ and SystemVerilog skills
  • Use of AI agents in projects or software development (preferred)
  • Experience with RTL development and debug (preferred)
  • Experience with x86 or other computer architectures (preferred)
  • ASM skills (preferred)
  • Version control software (GIT) knowledge (preferred)
