About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform functional verification of graphics logic components, including 3D graphics, media, and display, ensuring designs meet specification requirements.
- Develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans and test benches to confirm graphics microarchitecture specifications.
- Define and execute verification plans, running system simulation models to identify bugs, analyze power and timing, and verify design functionality.
- Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in pre-silicon environments while implementing corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
- Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to enhance verification processes, meeting functional, performance, and power goals.
- Document test plans, driving technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
- Maintain and optimize existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies.
- Participate in the definition and development of verification infrastructure and related tools for functional design verification.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field and at least 6+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in the mentioned fields with 4+ years of experience in silicon design development, frontend validation methodologies, simulation environment development (testbench, checker), and simulation/emulation debugging.
- Proficiency in functional and code coverage closures.
- Expertise in hardware simulation and validation tools, with strong technical proficiency in C/C++/Python and SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with IP validation tools, processes, and protocols.
- Experience with OVM/UVM-based test benches and formal verification tools.
- Deep knowledge of graphics architecture and designs, with an understanding of microarchitectural features.
- Strong team collaboration skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
