About the role
- Focus on enabling, influencing, and supporting Altera's authorized distribution partners.
- Drive all sales activities at the accounts classified as 'distributor-led' within the territory.
- Own sales budget targets for metrics like new opportunities uncovered, new design wins, and revenue growth.
- Facilitate branch trainings, attend joint customer visits, and lead promotional activities.
- Manage issue resolution through collaboration with marketing, operations, and applications engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field.
- 5+ years experience in technical sales.
- Experience with FPGA/SoC or ASIC design.
- Experience with any programmable logic or other specialized processing elements (microprocessors, GPU, CPU, etc.).
- Experience working with major tech distributor(s) (e.g. Arrow Electronics, Macnica).
- Experience working with tech design firm(s).
- Experience navigating and maintaining a CRM tool like Salesforce.
