About the role
- Translating business requirements into data and technical requirements
- Work as part of a software development team focusing on manufacturing data pipelines to create robust, reliable, and high-performance database systems that achieve customer requirements
- Develop, test, and maintain factory automation database systems
- Analyze, prototype, and enhance automation solutions that improve factory performance, output, and cycle time while meeting environmental constraints
- Partner with cross-functional teams (automation engineers, manufacturing planners, industrial engineers) to create and implement data-driven solutions using advanced technologies such as machine learning, statistical analysis, and optimization algorithms
Requirements
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a STEM related field and 4+ years relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in Large Scale Database Design, Development, Deployment, Administration and Performance Tuning
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and PL/SQL development
- 3+ years of experience Data Transformations, Data Structures, Metadata, Workload Management
- 3+ years of experience Object Oriented Software Design and/or Development and Building Distributed Systems
