About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Physical Verification (DRC/LVS/ERC/Density/LU, etc.) for Intel leading-edge PDKs
- Perform Physical Verification runs
- Identify violations and work with teams to clarify root causes
- Find and/or implement solutions to Physical Verification issues
- Own and maintain training documents and user guides
- Support customer issues
- Work with customers to outline critical requirements
- Collaborate with Intel internal partners and DTP stakeholders to define issue scope, plan execution, and develop solutions
- Analyze requests and root-cause issues to support customer success
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree with 7+ years of experience in Physical Verification, Physical Design Methodology, Design Enablement, or EDA Applications Engineering; or MS degree with 5+ years of experience; or PhD degree with 3+ years of experience in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM fields
- 3+ years of experience in a Physical Verification role for IP or SoC
- Experience with Physical Verification tools and flows such as ICV, Calibre, and Pegasus
- Experience solving PV issues, including design rule interpretation, root cause identification, and runset/flow debugging
- Advanced-node Intel and/or external foundry process technology knowledge
- Experience interacting and communicating directly with customers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented and self-motivated mindset
