About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of AI software solutions
  • Develop algorithms, frameworks, and AI software architectures for computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning
  • Implement and tune models for performance and accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD candidate from an accredited engineering or computer science program with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, particularly federated learning, image classification, multiscale attention for object detection, computer vision, image processing, and feature engineering
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Proven track record of academic success
  • Research/coursework on explainability tools
  • Data engineering and preparation, including feature engineering, data imbalance, and noisy datasets
  • Strong grasp of linear algebra, statistics, and probability
  • Experience or skills with Python, C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV
  • Familiarity with Git, cloud, cloud concepts, containers, Docker, and MLOps
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, self-motivation, and teamwork skills
  • Experience deploying AI applications in production environments requiring high precision and accuracy (preferred)
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or similar (preferred)
  • First-author publications in top computer vision conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, or NeurIPS (preferred)
  • Portfolio with computer vision/image AI projects, open-source contributions, or research papers/projects (preferred)
