About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with accounting-related functions and maintain effective accounting and reporting systems
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely closing of monthly and quarterly books
  • Support successful completion of external audits
  • Prepare monthly board packs, including consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, ratio analysis and detailed notes
  • Assist with preparation of detailed IFRS financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Assist in managing foreign exchange risk exposure
  • Maintain financial reporting and control standards across the group
  • Respond to ad hoc information requests
  • Assist with working capital management and reporting
  • Assist in producing annual budgets and forecasts
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics and report budget/forecast variances to management
  • Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures
  • Work regularly with auditors
  • Prepare statutory tax and employment returns
  • Manage ongoing internal audit review processes
  • Monitor key financial controls
  • Assist with integrating acquired companies and accounting for technical aspects of purchase agreements
  • Assist with implementing IFRS reporting across the group
  • Maintain effective financial controls and reporting processes
  • Maintain and develop financial processes and systems supporting business scaling
  • Provide accounting support for operational initiatives and other ad hoc tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified Accountant with 3–4+ years PQE in a relevant position
  • Strong understanding of IFRS reporting and acquisition accounting
  • Experience working with commercial, product and operations leaders on day-to-day commercial and operating decisions
  • Strong understanding of best practices for managing a business operating across multiple international locations
  • Salesforce/Financial Force experience
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Suites
  • Deadline driven
  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, focused on continuous improvement and attention to detail
