About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet devices across client environments
Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization
Resolve complex network incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner
Participate in network-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
Participate in service transition activities with Professional Services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience
Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 4 or higher preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in a managed services or service provider environment
Strong understanding of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and FortiOS
Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus
Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service management practices
Experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS environments is a plus
