About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and cultivate relationships with targeted referral sources to maximize patient enrollment
- Advocate for participants navigating all aspects of the ProMeds Pharmacy program
- Promote the ProMeds Pharmacy program at patient-focused group meetings and events
- Educate INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center patients individually and provide informational materials
- Determine program eligibility, obtain benefit information, and enroll eligible patients
- Educate participants about benefit plans and applicable co-pays
- Refer ineligible patients to other service providers in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain participant documentation and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely enrollment
- Identify payment options such as payment plans, charity care, and the INTEGRIS Pharmaceutical Assistance Program
- Assist participants in identifying new pharmacy benefit plans
- Compile and analyze patient data to improve the ProMeds Pharmacy program
- Assist the pharmacy business coordinator with participant collection issues
- Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations, and locate financial support resources
- Report to the assigned leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree and/or 4 years of pharmacy or medical experience
- Marketing experience preferred
- Knowledge of CoverMyMeds, foundation assistance programs, CRX, medication and disease states, pharmacy plans including Medicare B and D, and LIS enrollment preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Prior authorization and appeal experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
