About the role
- Champions the ongoing design, redesign and improvement of operational processes to enhance organization success.
- Supports the implementation and execution of program functions, objectives, and strategy to include development and driving of project plans and identification of resource requirements.
- Coordinates and supports the day-to-day activities of the program including the development of key metrics and targets.
- Coordinates with Information Technology and outside vendors to ensure support within the current infrastructure and architecture.
- Completes maintenance and testing of program technology and software, ensures databases are accurate
- Communicates across the organization and educates on opportunities, benefits, and functionality.
- Acts as liaison with the relevant work groups to include clinical work areas.
- Develops business cases for new solutions.
- Maintains deep level understanding of program regulatory requirements.
- Reports to assigned leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health information, business/finance, or healthcare administration
- Previous work experience within a healthcare field
- Six years’ experience in an advanced HIM or RCM role may substitute for bachelor’s requirement
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
