About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft a high volume of employment and independent contractor agreements for Physicians, APPs, CRNAs, and other clinicians
- Draft amendments, exhibits, addenda, and related documents using standard templates and approved business terms
- Review contracts and requested changes for accuracy and alignment with company standards
- Coordinate non-standard terms or revised language with Legal Counsel
- Create, update, and maintain contract management systems, workspaces, contract status, records, and required documentation
- Manage contracting from initial request through review, approval, signature coordination, and execution
- Follow up on outstanding items, resolve contracting questions, facilitate approvals, and escalate issues as appropriate
- Track renewals, amendments, terminations, and other contract actions
- File, upload, and archive executed agreements and related documentation
- Prepare termination letters according to Human Resources and Legal Counsel guidance
- Provide internal stakeholders with guidance regarding contract processes, status, and established terms
- Conduct contract audits and reviews to identify missing documentation, inconsistencies, outdated information, and follow-up items
- Improve contract lifecycle management processes, tools, templates, and workflows
- Ensure compliance with due diligence, approval, and contract execution policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in Contract Management or related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Contract Management processes
- Understanding of a variety of contracts and their provisions
- Ability to adjust to a dynamic business environment with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work methodically and consistently through contracts
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, identify issues, and resolve problems efficiently and professionally
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively with other teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to use discretion appropriately and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to understand and apply established contract terms, templates, policies, and procedures and recognize issues requiring escalation
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and data entry
- Ability to interpret written and oral instructions
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, OneDrive, DocuSign, contract databases, or other contract or applicant tracking systems is a plus
- Ability to fulfill normal office activities, including computer-based work, filing, and lifting/carrying office supplies
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation/keyboarding
- Some local and overnight travel may be required
