About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Record and maintain revenue and Accounts Receivable accounts
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting work papers for month-end close
Prepare invoices to be billed to outside parties
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and prepaid schedules
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of payroll entries
Post and reconcile intercompany transactions
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
Prepare recurring financial reports and supporting analytics for management review
Analyze accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards
Review account activity, research discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed
Support internal control processes and compliance initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance
Two (2) years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience
Familiarity with Accounting software programs
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
Understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues accurately and timely
Knowledge of financial reporting practices, internal controls, and audit support activities
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
