About the role
- Provide administrative and clinical support to our Clinical Director.
- Perform clinical data entry, clinical chart reviews, and audits.
- Generate spreadsheets and analyze compliance statistics.
- Attend to daily administrative duties and any other assigned responsibilities.
- Design, implement, and update compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Stay current with federal (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS) and state healthcare laws.
- Develop and deliver training for staff on policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
- Oversee internal audits of medical records and billing operations for adherence to standards.
- Investigate reported compliance concerns and manage corrective actions.
Requirements
- Must hold active nursing license in any state.
- Wound care and nursing home experience preferred.
- RN/LPN with Long Term Care experience
- Wound Care experience necessary, Wound Certification preferred.
- Healthcare Compliance Certification, or willingness to become certified.
- 2+ years experience in a regulatory role, including familiarity with audits and billing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with standard office productivity software (Word, Excel, Power point, etc).
- Ability to work successfully in a remote team environment
- Home computer with reliable wi-fi and cellular service.
