Junior IT – Systems Administrator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide end-user support through a ticketing system, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Diagnose root causes, implement solutions, and document resolutions clearly
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed
- Maintain and support desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other IT equipment
- Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS/cloud platforms
- Support Windows Server environments , user accounts, and system access
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software
- Monitor systems to ensure updates, patches, and security measures are in place
- Perform inventory tracking of IT assets and equipment
- Assist with disaster recovery processes including backups for virtual machines, files, email, and cloud systems
- Provide basic training and guidance to end users when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of IT support or system administration experience
- Experience with Windows environments and basic network administration
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi/network troubleshooting
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 and/or Azure
- VMware experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- At least one relevant certification, such as: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
- Microsoft certifications
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP
