About the role
- Maximizing the value, stability, and evolution of the company’s HealthRules Payor (HRP) platform
- Serving as the primary steward of the HRP product ecosystem
- Managing and governing the vendor(s) that provide configuration, development, and production support services for HRP
- Overseeing performance, prioritizing work, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and driving high-quality delivery
- Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, IT leadership, and the PMO
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 7–10 years of experience working with payer systems, ideally including HealthRules Payor
- Minimum 5 years working in roles such as product owner, business systems manager, business analyst lead, or system SME within a healthcare payer environment
- Proven experience managing third-party vendors (preferably VENDOR(S) or similar HRP partners)
- Strong understanding of payer business processes: claims adjudication, benefits configuration, provider data, enrollment/membership, billing, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical system solutions
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience leading or partnering on large systems implementations or enhancements
