About the role

  • The Technical Project Manager (TPM) for Data Engineering and EDI is responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex, data-driven initiatives spanning internal data and reporting platforms, EDI/X12 integrations, external vendors, and downstream claims and reporting systems
  • This role is hands-on and outcome driven
  • The TPM is expected to understand how IHCS systems fit together, anticipate downstream impacts, and actively manage scope, dependencies, risks, and deliverables — not simply coordinate meetings or produce call summaries
  • The TPM partners closely with Data Engineering, EDI and external vendors to ensure projects remain on course, deliver measurable value, and integrate cleanly into the broader IHCS ecosystem

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 7–10 years of experience in technical project management, systems delivery, product delivery, or equivalent roles within healthcare, payer, or regulated data environments
  • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of defined outcomes
  • Proven experience working with data-centric systems, integrations, or platforms, including exposure to data pipelines and transformations, EDI/X12 transactions and trading partner integrations, Claims or downstream reporting dependencies
  • Strong ability to analyze complex workflows, data dependencies, and system interactions, and translate them into clear technical requirements and deliverables
  • Experience working directly with engineering, data, and integration teams, with the ability to understand and manage technical dependencies without acting as a developer
  • Demonstrated experience managing external vendors or partners, including defining deliverables, tracking progress, and validating outputs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical risks, dependencies, and impacts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience operating in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release coordination

  • Medical, Vision, Dental, Short- and Long-term insurance
  • 6+ Days of Holidays Pay
  • 16+ days of PTO
  • Employer paid life insurance
  • 401K with employer contribution
  • Wellness program with reward incentives
