About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serving as principal-in-charge for complex soil, groundwater investigation and remediation projects.
Serving as a consulting and/or testifying expert on complex litigation matters.
Advising clients on technical risk, regulatory strategy, and remediation approaches associated with redevelopment, transactions, or long-term liability management.
Interfacing with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to support permitting, compliance, and closure strategies.
Providing senior technical review of reports, designs, and modeling analyses to ensure defensibility and technical rigor.
Mentoring senior and mid-level staff and contributing to the development of technical standards, best practices, and thought leadership.
Contributing to business development through proposal support, technical scoping, and strengthening long-term client relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need

M.S. or Ph.D. degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental chemistry or related field
Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license
15+ years of experience in environmental consulting
Proven leadership on investigation/remediation projects as a strategic advisor to clients
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
Strong organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
