About the role

  • Evaluating environmental data for usability in quantitative human health risk assessments
  • Performing exposure assessments for complete exposure pathways and estimating human health risks
  • Executing technical work and preparing client work products

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in environmental health sciences, toxicology, public health, or a related scientific discipline with 8+ years of experience in human health risk assessment, preferably in a consulting setting
  • Experience working on project teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in site-specific exposure assessment and risk characterization in accordance with regulatory guidance and project-specific work plans
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing technical work products, including writing reports and performing/reviewing risk assessment calculations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing proposals/scopes of work and cost estimation for human health risk assessments
  • Experience working on CERCLA Superfund projects and state programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
