Key responsibilities & impact

Work on multiple concurrent projects performing building commissioning services for both new construction and existing facilities for commercial, institutional, and educational buildings.
Create or review test procedures based on contract Documents, specifically drawings and specifications.
Design documentation such as Owner’s Project Requirements.
Assist the Commissioning Engineer in preparing checklists for installation verification and functional performance testing of equipment and integrated systems.
Perform field verification of equipment installation and startup, document commissioning issues.
Supervise or witness equipment startups, as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years of experience of building commissioning, HVAC, Automatic Temperature Controls, and/or Testing and Balancing
Strong fundamentals in HVAC, hydronics, automatic temperature controls and renewable energy systems design, installation, and operations
HVAC: Hands-on experience in testing, start-up and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including but not limited to cooling towers, chillers, packaged roof top units, ERUs, DOAS, AHUs, VRFs, VFDs, for hospitals, schools, commercial and institutional buildings.
Electrical (additional): Hands-on experience with equipment such as emergency generators, ATS, UPS, PDUs and power monitoring systems desired
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Travel 50%
