About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct sales of Specialty Surgical products in targeted hospital accounts
  • Identify market sales opportunities and close orders to exceed quarterly targets
  • Develop short- and long-term account strategies and customer relationships to achieve annual revenue targets
  • Build relationships with clinical customers, hospital administration, patient associations, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement product-specific programs
  • Support surgeries by providing required equipment and products
  • Demonstrate product expertise and provide follow-up support and troubleshooting
  • Use Salesforce.com and other communication systems for account coordination, knowledge, strategy, and teamwork
  • Lead relevant tender-roadmap sections and collaborate with cross-functional Request For Proposal teams to win contracts
  • Ensure compliance with existing business agreements
  • Maintain expertise in product specifications and anticipated outcomes
  • Advise customers on products and outcomes
  • Participate in major local and national meetings as required
  • Manage budget according to plan and comply with company expense policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3-years degree in business, sales/marketing, or science-based studies
  • Proven medical device sales experience
  • Medical device sales experience in the operating room; ICU experience preferred
  • Experience working in a sales position against established objectives/goals
  • Professional-level English, German, or French knowledge, verbal and written
  • Experience in business and territory planning
  • Experience growing market share
  • Ability to collaborate with international cross-functional partners across sales, marketing, customer service, service and repair, HR, and finance
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Team-oriented approach
  • Strong customer focus and attention to detail
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be located in Switzerland
