About the role
- Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements.
- Contribute to definition and execution of infrastructure strategies and platform roadmaps.
- Identify emerging infrastructure and cloud technologies with potential applicability at Integer.
- Evaluate new platform capabilities, tools, and services, providing recommendations on fitness, risk, and value.
- Partner with the Head of Infrastructure on long‑term platform direction, investment priorities, and modernization initiatives.
- Provide direct people leadership to infrastructure engineering teams.
- Own day‑to‑day infrastructure reliability, availability, and performance.
- Lead operational response for infrastructure incidents and escalations.
- Ensure consistent execution of incidents, problem, and change processes for infrastructure platforms.
- Manage infrastructure vendor and managed service provider relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or with equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Experience: 10+ years of IT‑related experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
- 5+ years of demonstrated people‑leadership experience, including leading technical teams and managing performance, priorities, and development.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, engineering, or operations roles.
- Experience working in customer service or technical service organizations preferred.
- Strong operational and execution leadership.
- Deep technical knowledge across: Networking, Server and cloud infrastructure, M365 / collaboration platforms, Endpoint and device management.
- Working knowledge of ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change).
- Ability to lead cross‑domain architecture discussions.
- Vendor and MSP oversight experience.
