About the role
- Develop and implement long term commodity strategy roadmap for Packaging Materials
- Lead cross functional commodity teams to execute the commodity strategic plan
- Responsible for strategic supplier management activities including supplier selection and sourcing
- Monitor compliance to commodity contracts and report on effectiveness of the strategy
- Actively manage supplier risks and introduce new supplier technology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing/procurement in manufacturing industries
- At least 3 years of commodity management involving packaging commodities
- Knowledge of negotiating and procurement principles
- Experience managing indirect, services spend is preferred
- Specialized knowledge in specific commodity expertise
