About the role

  • Align processes and technology to enable information sharing among analysts and partner organizations.
  • Utilize centralized and peripheral databases, content management, and records management systems to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Support development of solutions to extract, normalize, and analyze data from multiple sources; enable analysts to identify correlations, patterns, and trends.
  • Implement knowledge management standards, best practices, and methodologies for the NTC community of practice.
  • Compile reports on usage metrics, performance data, and future requirements for knowledge management systems.
  • Recommend and develop automated approaches and new tools to save analysts time and improve analytic workflows.
  • Support integration and implementation of new datasets and analytic capabilities.
  • Deliver informal training sessions (peer-to-peer, roundtables, brown bags) to share KM best practices and tool usage.
  • Provide expertise in SharePoint administration and design (developing sites, lists, libraries, troubleshooting, and maintaining access controls).
  • Perform web application software development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET to support knowledge management solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Knowledge Management, Data/Information Science, or a related technical field from an accredited U.S. institution.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in knowledge management, information systems, or content management, with at least 3 years specifically in enterprise knowledge management or information-sharing solutions.
  • OR 17 years of directly related experience (including substitution for prior military service in IT, information management, or knowledge operations).
  • Must Have Experience With: Knowledge management methodologies, analytic standards, and best practices.
  • SharePoint site administration, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Extracting, cleansing, normalizing, and visualizing large data sets.
  • Developing workflow/process solutions for data access, storage, and retrieval.
  • Producing performance and usage metrics for KM systems.
  • Supporting collaborative environments across DoD, IC, and LE communities.
  • Preferred Certifications and Training: Microsoft SharePoint or MCSE certification.
  • Training in data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) or data analytics.
  • DoD/IC training in information sharing, knowledge management, or data governance.
  • Proficiency In: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • SharePoint and web application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#/VB.NET).
  • Data analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI, I2 Analyst Notebook, etc.).
  • Documentation of analytic standards and workflows.
  • Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance throughout employment.
