Vice President – Financial Services Sales

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own new client acquisition strategy across top-tier financial services institutions.
- Manage and grow a set of key strategic enterprise accounts, retaining existing ACV and expanding relationships.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Development Directors, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and maintain a robust, team-wide pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
- Drive disciplined sales execution, including pipeline inspection and forecast accuracy.
- Personally engage in and quarterback the most strategic pursuits.
- Coach the team on navigating client buying behavior and value-based sales approach.
- Lead executive-level negotiations, removing obstacles and driving alignment to close deals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a demonstrated track record of both winning net-new logos (pursuits) and expanding strategic accounts (growth).
- Proven experience selling into top-tier financial services institutions (e.g., investment banking, private capital markets).
- Prior experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams across both new business and expansion motions.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, including navigating multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage pipeline at scale across both pursuits and growth opportunities.
- Strong operating cadence, including experience running forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and sales inspections.
- Highly driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
