About the role

  • Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for applications running on the Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Execute automated test suites and perform basic manual testing when needed to validate application functionality.
  • Work with senior QA Automation engineers to learn and apply automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Azure DevOps.
  • Help design and maintain test cases and test data for automated testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand application behavior and identify automation-friendly test scenarios.
  • Analyze test execution results, report defects, and assist in troubleshooting failed automated tests.
  • Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability.
  • Continuously improve automation skills and contribute to enhancing test coverage and test reliability.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in QA Automation, software testing, or relevant academic/personal projects.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or Python (foundational level).
  • Introductory understanding of Azure Cloud Platform and cloud-based application testing.
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or version control systems (Git) is a plus.
  • Understanding of software testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn automation best practices.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
