About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform data entry into underwriting and billing systems according to our quality standards
- Collect relevant information required for invoice processing according to established processes
- Generate reports and reference information as directed by the underwriters
- Calculate premiums on new additional premiums, return premiums and new business
- Responsible for all word processing functions associated with contract bonds including preparing bonds, renewals, riders, legal documents and correspondence
- Build and maintain good relationships with insurance brokers
- Correspond with end users of surety bonds concerning the status of contracts and projects
- Review incoming bonds issued by brokers for compliance, accuracy and completeness
- Participate in the issuance of surety bonds and premium adjustments for completed contracts
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or higher with up to two years of experience
- Bilingualism (French and English) – Required to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
- Proven experience onboarding, training, coaching, and/or mentoring team members
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
- Concern for quality of service and customer satisfaction
- Exemplary communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
- Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
- Demonstrate autonomy and flexibility
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
