About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of professionals providing trusted advice or assurance on governance, internal controls and risk management activities in a large, complex environment
Manage the team’s performance and develop top talent
Supervise the team’s activities and audits or projects under their responsibilities
Participate on the corporate audit services leadership team
Provide guidance on projects to ensure risks are identified, value to the business is apparent
Responsible for the audit scope and approach, and executive level reporting
Support development of the risk-based audit plan

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional designation CPA or CIA or other audit or risk related designations (e.g., CRM, CRMA, etc.)
Minimum 8 years experience in leadership (managing managers an asset)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues simply
Strong understanding of insurance industry
Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec
