About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the PFR (Prioritization and funding review) and Budgeting
Collect the various request on a monthly basis
Challenge each item and align with the finance team to ensure adequate financial impacts to the IT budget
Prepare appropriate executive presentations in a timely manner
Provide cost estimation support for new and ongoing projects
Track and monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and actuals
Review and analyse resource planning and allocation to ensure alignment with financial objectives
Collaborate with the various IT stakeholders to manage initiative budgets
Develop detailed financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership
Identify, assess and track financial benefits related to initiative execution
Partner with finance teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment
Enhance financial tracking processes and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
CPA designation or progress toward CPA (preferred)
Over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, project management finance, or a similar role
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus
Proficiency in financial management software (SAP, Oracle)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, financial modeling)
Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec.
