Senior Graphic Designer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a key role in developing and executing marketing initiatives to strengthen IFC brands across the Canadian, USA, and UK markets.
- Guide the application of the brand into visually captivating designs across all touchpoints.
- Oversee brand guidelines and the overall aesthetics for all touchpoints.
- Present, educate, and advocate for brand guidelines among employees and power users of brand assets.
- Explore and refine visual compositions, typography, color palettes, formats, and messaging to maximize creative impact and achieve objectives.
- Collaborate with the creative director to deliver high-impact concepts aligned with brands’ positioning.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies pertinent to financial services and digital media to ensure designs are innovative and relevant.
- Aid in the creation of design systems and templates for scalable content production.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Over 5 years of experience in marketing, with over 3 years focused on branding and design.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or communications and design.
- Proficient in using design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) to produce high-quality digital content and assets for web, social media, print, and presentations.
- Skilled in managing DAM products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects and create high-quality digital assets.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience in overseeing brand assets across various channels, both digital and offline, ensuring effective brand application in all tactics.
- Positive attitude, highly collaborative, enjoys problem-solving and building consensus.
- Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec, considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
