• Maximize recovery potential by helping to establish optimal recovery strategies from the outset of the claim
• Ensure rigorous follow-up on investigation progress so that evidentiary elements supporting recovery are documented in the file
• Prioritize and manage workload effectively
• Demonstrate negotiation skills to maximize recoveries, taking into account assessments of parties' liability, evaluation of quantum, various other issues and, notably, limitation periods
• Develop the best strategies with the different parties to optimize recovery and pursue settlement solutions for disputes
• Collaborate with the in-house legal department and external legal resources for the various stages related to litigating a file
• Serve as a resource person for experts, training teams, managers and other members of the recovery team
