About the role

  • Enhance and/or develop features to meet user needs by designing solutions, solving problems, producing work estimates, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
  • Guidewire certifications (assets)
  • Experience with the SAAS version of Guidewire (assets)
  • Experience in Guidewire version migration (assets)
  • Experience with Guidewire Billing Center (assets)
  • Experience with Spring Boot (assets)
  • Experience with REST APIs (assets)
  • Experience with Cucumber and JMeter (assets)
  • Experience with Git (assets)
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (assets)
  • Experience integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (assets)
  • Experience in Agile development (assets)
  • Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry (assets)
  • Understanding of billing/collections domain (assets)
