About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze system and coding needs, identify problems, and propose solutions including program specifications
Develop system specifications; code, modify, test, and debug computer programs under general supervision
Master technical and business system features and explain them to colleagues while interacting with users
Translate requirements into technical specifications and software components
Organize and manage production sessions
Design and model programmatic solutions for complex problems meeting functional and non-functional requirements
Review code and design quality as deliverables
Develop and support complex components
Support and guide the project team in development activities and meet project deadlines
Write unit and integration tests
Participate in regression testing strategies
Provide level 1 application support and maintenance and resolve complex anomalies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or any combination of equivalent education and experience
8 years of development experience
Ability to analyze and synthesize data
Initiative and ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in a team and be detail oriented
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
Must be eligible to work in Canada
No Canadian work experience required
Candidates must maintain work eligibility throughout employment
