About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervising the day-to-day management of qualified underwriting support staff
Authorizing renewals and endorsements under some supervision and within authority guidelines
Monitoring work progress and reassigning work as required
Ensuring service levels are achieved by continuous monitoring of available staff and transaction volumes
Responsible for ensuring goals for productivity, quality of transactions and customer inquiries are met
Developing and implementing standardized processing procedures
Creating and implementing quality control procedures
Reviewing work on processing system for accuracy and completeness
Identifying trends and developing plans for eliminating causes of recurring errors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience is required
2+ year’s experience in Underwriting Support
Surety Bond processing experience preferred
1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
