Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct risk analysis through technical investigations, risk evaluation and loss analyses
Provide timely information to the Underwriting department for further risk evaluation and assessment
Monitor accounts' programs, identify required improvements, and present recommendations for enhancements
Manage and maintain portfolios and conduct analysis to ensure integrity of the book of business
Provide high level technical services, evaluations and policyholder training in an area of specialty
Communicate technical conclusions internally and externally
Influence Underwriters', Agents' and client behaviors through negotiation and relationship-building
Manage accounts by formulating an assessment and improvement strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience required
Minimum of 5 years of risk control experience within Wind, Power, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Solar Power required
National Board Certification and other professional insurance or industry certifications are preferred
Risk management expertise and experience in the operations and maintenance of renewable energy assets are strongly desired.
