About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Acts as a technical lead/consultant helping customers, business analysts, and team members capture, understand and translate business requirements
Develops and presents recommendations towards the design and development of application architecture, business systems and IT solutions
Owns non-functional requirements including performance, resiliency, scalability, security, and operational readiness of delivered solutions
Designs and develops scalable, cloud-native, AI-enabled enterprise applications using modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, RESTful APIs
Collaborates effectively with others in a variety of work settings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
9+ years of related experience
Significant development experience in the languages used by the company
Application architecture and development experience in the technologies used by the company
Intermediate level understanding of the Insurance business
Experience in Property Casualty or Specialty Insurance a plus
Experience across the full technology stack, including Java, SQL, and JavaScript
