About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements, while proactively identifying and resolving workflow issues.
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and leveraging PeopleSoft system capabilities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee administration and optimization of the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable system, including development of queries, reporting, and data analysis to support business decision-making.
- Partner with Procurement, Treasury, and cross-functional stakeholders to leverage payables data and support organizational objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments while maintaining strong internal controls over payment processing, banking activities, and fraud prevention.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements, including 1099 processing and unclaimed property, and ensure the integrity of financial records and documentation.
- Lead internal and external audit activities related to accounts payable and treasury operations, ensuring readiness and timely resolution of findings.
- Manage, develop, and mentor Accounts Payable staff, and maintain department policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7-10 years of related experience, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Very proficient in Excel
