Key responsibilities & impact

Developing and implementing internal and external communications initiatives to support business priorities
Proactively curates content, provides editorial consulting/oversight, regularly shares analytics and recommendations based on trends and activities
Provides ongoing editorial support including writing, editing, and content development to ensure that all communications are well articulated and consistent with the company's key themes and brand strategy
Develops and delivers a regular cadence of internal communications to keep employees informed on important initiatives
Develops communication plans to create awareness and promote brand, products, services, and capabilities in the marketplace
Directly handles responses to media inquiries, often serving as company spokesperson

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
6+ years of communications experience, mainly in the property-casualty Insurance industry experience, including communications- internal and external, PR and consulting.
Excellent and professional writer and communicator across all forms of media and styles to reach a range of audiences across multiple channels.
Must be able to work both independently, as a member of a team, and can interact with a diverse group of individuals.
Ability to work effectively within a global, matrix organization, collaborating across regions, functions, and time zones to deliver consistent communications outcomes.
Ability to demonstrate analytical, decision making, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Demonstrate proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office suite and other systems utilized by the department.
