Engages in a hands-on training program that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts of insurance, underwriting, and renewable energy.
Develops skills that contribute to technical support, underwriting and risk evaluation, and service to assigned producers on accounts.
Assists in the functions of the underwriting department.
Observes, questions and develops an understanding of the operations within the department as well as within the company in order to learn the principles of insurance and underwriting.
Begins to develop agency relationships.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required, with an emphasis in business, insurance, engineering, or renewable energy.
0-2 years of experience in insurance, engineering, or a renewable energy-related field.
