💰 $120,000 - $170,000 per year
About the role
- Underwrites and manages a book of business of highly complex, specialty accounts
- Assists with the development and execution of strategic initiatives
- Maximizes opportunities for underwriting profitable new and renewal business
- Develops and maintains an active target account list
- Manages financial performance of assigned territory
- Executes underwriting strategy as determined by management
- Makes underwriting decisions to accept, decline, or modify risks
- Develops superior working relationships with producers
- Anticipates the needs of the agency plant and implements proactive strategies
- Provides training and mentoring to less experienced underwriters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Financial underwriting experience
- Professional insurance designation is preferred
