About the role
- Supervises the day-to-day management of qualified underwriting support staff
- Determines day-to-day priorities and assigns workload to staff
- Ensures service levels are achieved by continuous monitoring of available staff and transaction volumes
- Resolves processing and billing questions on underwriting transactions within multiple systems
- Develops and implements standardized processing procedures
- Works with Underwriters to develop, implement, and assess effectiveness of workflow and associated procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience is required
- 2+ year’s experience in an Underwriting Support or Operations Center environment
- 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
