About the role
- Handling and resolving complex, highly specialized claims through investigation, evaluation and disposition
- Makes appropriate recommendations to management on coverage and settlement of claims
- Reviews and processes highly complex large loss claims or specialized claims that generally settle over $200,000 often involving litigation
- Supports business partners through communication and education about specific claims
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience degree required
- JD may be required depending on the needs and requirements of a business unit
- 5+ years of progressively more complex, specialized claims handling experience
- Desired Experience working on complex Financial Institution Claims
