About the role

  • Responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism
  • Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies
  • Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
  • Work with new clients to understand their needs and present options
  • Set appointments to review existing policies and bind renewals
  • Confer with customers to provide detailed information about products and services
  • Resolve product or service issues by selecting and explaining the best solution
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions

Requirements

  • Hold the insurance license required by your state
  • Have a minimum of two years commercial lines insurance account management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
  • Strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent math and reading skills to perform calculations
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems
