About the role
- Responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism
- Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies
- Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
- Work with new clients to understand their needs and present options
- Set appointments to review existing policies and bind renewals
- Confer with customers to provide detailed information about products and services
- Resolve product or service issues by selecting and explaining the best solution
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
Requirements
- Hold the insurance license required by your state
- Have a minimum of two years commercial lines insurance account management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
- Strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent math and reading skills to perform calculations
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems
