About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Account Executives by:
  • - Conducting customer research for potential new leads.
  • - Analyzing historical customer data.
  • - Creating stakeholder engagement plans and creating bespoke communication strategy (e.g., emails, contact details) for new and existing customers.
  • - Scheduling internal and external executive-level meetings in service of the end-to-end sales process.
  • - Drafting business cases and pricing proposals based on guidance from Account Executive or Senior Account Executive.
  • - Processing signed contracts and conducting post-sales customer review.
  • - Participating in shadowing opportunities where Instructure products are introduced/sold to new higher education accounts.
  • - Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts in Salesforce in partnership with the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven ability to listen, learn, connect the dots and execute.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, heart, sales acumen and inspiration driven.
  • You seek to understand and implement innovative tools to make you and the team more efficient, adopt AI solutions, and have a solid growth mindset.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Development Rep, Business Development Executive or equivalent.
  • Experience working with education institutions, EdTech, or Professional Learning and understanding of LMS.
  • Experience selling enterprise-level software, SaaS sales and services.
  • Prior experience in Salesforce.
