Business Operations Summer Intern
InstructureBusiness Operations Intern supporting the organization by analyzing data and improving workflows. Collaborating with teams to execute operational priorities and maintain business metrics.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate to gather, organize, and analyze operational data to inform business decisions
- Maintain reports, dashboards, trackers, and recurring business metrics
- Document existing processes, workflows, and team procedures in a clear and organized format
- Support process improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to collect updates, track action items, and ensure follow-through on operational initiatives
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and internal documentation for meetings, planning sessions, and project updates
- Conduct research to support operational planning, benchmarking, and business reviews
- Assist with project management, including timeline tracking, meeting notes, and progress reporting
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across operational tools and documentation
- Participate in special projects and support ad hoc business operations needs as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Google Slides, or PowerPoint)
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work with different teams and stakeholders
- Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in business operations, program management, consulting, analytics, or similar areas (Nice to Have)
