About the role

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a wide variety of commercial contracts, including sales agreements, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across sales, legal, finance, and product teams to understand business requirements and ensure contracts accurately reflect agreed-upon terms.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal, utilizing contract management software to track key dates, obligations, and amendments.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, working with legal counsel to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and best practices to streamline processes and ensure consistency.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on contract processes, policies, and key contractual provisions.
  • Resolve contract-related inquiries and disputes, escalating complex issues to legal counsel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management systems and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contracts management, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts with precision and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
