About the role

  • Act as strategic partner for Marketing field teams (Events, International Marketing, Higher Ed and Professional Learning, and K12).
  • Guide lead process, systems, and business intelligence strategy and execution across Marketing field teams.
  • Report to the Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations.
  • Streamline Marketing field operations while maintaining a business-development perspective and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Enterprise Systems, Sales, Customer Experience, and Product teams to develop scalable solutions.
  • Oversee tool and system needs for the Marketing Field team including business requirements, vendor demos, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Support strategic Field Marketing initiatives, business process transformation, and execution of standard operating procedures for Marketing and SDRs.
  • Partner with teams for project intake, prioritization, handoffs, goal setting, and performance tracking.
  • Represent Marketing in enhancement requests and product roadmap influence with Enterprise Systems and Marketing Operations Systems teams.
  • Report on and identify trends in Marketing performance data from awareness to acquisition to renewal; analyze and translate complex data sets for Marketing.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to ensure Marketing teams have needed data and reporting cadence.
  • Assist Marketing Ops team with planning, hiring, and developing new hires; foster a culture of growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Marketing Operations Manager or similar Operations role.
  • Experience in Marketing preferred.
  • Proven expertise in Marketing operations, business analysis, and program management.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketing tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase/6sense, Bizzabo, Qualified, LeanData, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Experience implementing and iterating upon Marketing tools and platforms.
  • Experience driving a roadmap cross-functionally.
  • Strong passion for driving growth through technology, process, and innovation.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner with leadership in Product, Revenue, and Customer Experience to drive growth.
  • Strong understanding of marketing methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in programmatic execution and program management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven experience in presenting reports and data insights.
  • Outstanding networking and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to partner across departments and functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
