About the role

  • Lead the Marketing PMO: Manage and mentor a team of project managers; establish global standards, workflows, and governance (including RACI frameworks) that bring "order to the chaos" of a high-volume marketing organization.
  • Build Operational Infrastructure: Implement and optimize the tech stack (Asana, AI-enabled workflows, and productivity platforms) to streamline collaboration and identify execution bottlenecks before they happen.
  • Scale the Model Globally: Partner with international marketing leads to deploy the PMO model across global regions, ensuring a "Glocal" balance of consistency and regional flexibility.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the primary marketing representative within Instructure’s enterprise PMO. You will bridge the gap between marketing, product, and sales to ensure our OKRs are tracked and achieved.
  • Partner with Marketing Leadership: Work as a strategic peer to Business Unit leads, Product Marketing, and Digital teams to prioritize resources, coordinate major launches, and keep the CMO informed of operational health and risks

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in project management or business operations, specifically within a top-tier advertising agency or a high-growth in-house marketing organization.
  • Proven People Leader: Experience managing teams of project managers and coordinating large-scale, complex programs of work.
  • Strategic & Systems-Oriented: You don’t just manage tasks; you build the frameworks (Salesforce, Asana, Tableau) and AI-enabled workflows that allow teams to scale.
  • B2B Savvy: A deep understanding of how marketing supports a complex B2B sales model and enterprise software cycles.
  • Expert Navigator: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and drive alignment across global, matrixed teams.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in fast-moving environments and are equally comfortable defining high-level strategy as you are "rolling up your sleeves" to solve an execution challenge.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation, plus all full-time employees participate in our ownership program - because everyone should have a stake in our success.
  • Flexible work culture. Our remote, hybrid and in-office collaboration spaces vary by role, team and location.
  • Generous time off, including local holidays and our annual “Dim the Lights” period in late December, when teams are encouraged to step back and recharge based on departmental needs.
  • Comprehensive wellness programs and mental health support
  • Annual learning and development stipends to support your growth
  • The technology and tools you need to do your best work — typically a Mac, with PC options available in some locations
  • Motivosity employee recognition program
  • A culture rooted in inclusivity, support, and meaningful connection
