About the role
- Own the multi-year product vision and roadmap with a relentless commitment to strengthening the product and delivering results.
- Proactively identify market opportunities, instructional gaps, and competitive threats—and act on them.
- Drive the thoughtful integration of AI and emerging technologies to raise the bar on instructional impact and usability.
- Represent the voice of K–12 educators and leaders, translating insight into decisive, high-impact priorities.
- Push work forward in ambiguous environments, making clear trade-offs to maintain momentum.
- Align and influence cross-functional teams to execute against ambitious strategic goals.
- Monitor adoption, engagement, and impact metrics and adjust strategy quickly to improve results.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading product K-12 strategy with a strong bias toward action and follow-through.
- Deep understanding of K–12 instruction and educator evaluation systems.
- Self-starter mentality—comfortable taking ownership, setting direction, and driving progress without waiting to be asked.
- High personal standards and a willingness to work hard to build something exceptional.
- Ability to influence across teams, challenge thinking, and move work forward.
- Strong analytical judgment paired with clear, compelling communication.
- Curiosity and discernment around AI and emerging technologies, focused on real instructional value.
